Who Is KPI?
We are collaborative thought leaders, advisors, and strategic content creators. We are known for our work with breakthrough ideas and visionary leaders. We get results; we transcend silos and boundaries. We love what we do because we work with highly talented people on significant projects and goals.
What does KPI do?
Our work falls into five broad categories:
1. Innovation Partnership
We help you produce. As thinking partners and project development experts, KPI has a unique and recognized ability to help people see possibilities and make them happen. We can help you take ideas from concept through prototype to realization, drawing on collaborators from a wide range of disciplines to get it done. We help innovative teams and up-and-coming organizations punch above their weight and grow into greatness.
2. Digital Transformation and AI Advisory
We help you build. We wrote the book (The AI Dilemma) on responsible technology. Nature called it one of the 5 top science books of 2023. Now we can help you bring the tech and human aspects of your business together and scale them while increasing your opportunities and reducing your risks.

3. Best-in-class Thought Leadership
We help you think. We are content creators and strategists in a variety of formats: articles, books, video, podcasts, multimedia, and events. We leverage social media, data, and network effects. We take pride in helping people with significant ideas and stories to bring them to the world. We know how to shape complex ideas so that people can learn from them and put them into action.
4. Leadership and Executive Coaching
We help you transform. KPI provides counsel, coaching and executive support for C-suite and senior executives. We help leaders identify, develop and achieve their goals. We bring together methods from a variety of traditions and practices, including: responsible AI, leadership development, organizational learning, stakeholder-centered coaching, the apex benchmark for business responsibility, and the core group theory of corporate purpose.
5. Scenario Workshops and Future Strategy
Juliette Powell and Art Kleiner met during a scenario session. We can help you frame uncertainties as opportunities — and see the inevitable but surprising events that are predetermined for your industry or organization. We have done this work for companies and agencies around the world, and teach a class at New York University, where students’ scenario presentations have a popular following. After these sessions, you won’t just anticipate the future. You’ll have lived it before it happens.

“Juliette Powell is one of the few people I can recommend without reservation. I have never seen Juliette give anything less than 150% and I've never seen her pull off less than a minor miracle in everything she puts herself into.”

“One thing I’ve done throughout my career is to seek out people who inspire my thinking. People who challenge conventional wisdom. Stand for something. Say something distinctive.
With that in mind I’d like to recognise Art Kleiner. I loved working with Art for many reasons - his ability to reframe an idea into something better, to synthesise complex ideas into a compelling narrative, and dare people to think deeper. A superb author, editor, and management thinker.”
— David Lancefield,
CEO catalyst, strategist, coach, and podcast host
